20. Additional Terms. (a) Our agents or we may monitor your telephone conversations with us and our service providers or agents. (b) We may transfer any of our rights or obligations. You may not transfer any of your rights or obligations except to the person to whom you give the Walmart Visa Gift Card. (c) If any provision of this Agreement is held to be void or unenforceable, all other provisions of this Agreement shall remain valid and enforceable. (d) This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and us with respect to the Walmart Visa Gift Card and supersedes all other prior or contemporaneous agreements between you and us. (e) Use of a Walmart Visa Gift Card is subject to all rules and practices of Visa and any other clearing house or network involved in the transaction. 15. Our Responsibility.
If we do not complete a transaction with your Walmart Visa Gift Card on time or in the correct amount in accordance with our agreement with you, we will be liable for your loss or damage to the extent required by law. However, there are a few exceptions. We are not responsible for, for example: (a) if, through no fault of our own, you do not have enough money on your Walmart Visa Gift Card to complete the transaction; (b) if the POS system or terminal was not functioning properly and you were aware of the outage prior to the start of the transaction; (c) if circumstances beyond our control (e.B. fire or flood), prevent or delay the completion of the transaction despite the reasonable precautions we have taken; or (d) if the Walmart Visa Gift Card has been reported lost or stolen, has been blocked by us, or if we have reason to believe that a transaction has not been authorized by you. 6. Authorizations and permissions apply when you use your Walmart Visa Gift Card at merchants such as gas merchants, restaurants, and hotels. If you use your Walmart Visa Gift Card to pay for goods or services, some merchants may ask us to authorize the transaction in advance and estimate its final value. For example, if you use your Walmart Visa Gift Card at a merchant that may contain a tip (e.B. at a restaurant), your transaction may be authorized for an additional 20% above your total bill. The actual amount processed on your Walmart Visa Gift Card does not exceed the invoice amount plus the tip you added (the tip amount is at your discretion). In addition to restaurants, the types of vendors where a tip can be included are bars, taxis, beauty and hair salons, and health and beauty spas. Travel merchants (for example. Until the transaction is finally settled or we determine that it is unlikely to be processed, the funds subject to withholding will not be available to you for any other purpose. If the amount of the authorization request exceeds the value of your Walmart Visa Gift Card, the transaction may be declined.
